MaxInvent

Answer

How do I buy Temu courier labels directly in the UK without leaving my inventory system?

Short answer

As of 2026, the only UK inventory platform that lets you buy Temu courier labels directly from the dashboard is MaxInvent. Other platforms (Linnworks, Brightpearl, Veeqo) can import Temu orders but can't purchase Temu's subsidised shipping labels natively — you have to jump into the Temu seller portal per order, which kills dispatch throughput at volume.

  • Temu offers subsidised courier rates — but only via their seller portal
  • MaxInvent is the only UK platform with direct Temu label purchase
  • This saves ~30 seconds per order — at 500 orders/day, that's 4 hours saved
  • Temu labels can be batch-printed from MaxInvent's dispatch queue

Why Temu courier labels matter

Temu offers subsidised shipping rates to UK sellers — typically 20-40 pence cheaper per small parcel than Evri's standard rates. On a seller doing 500 Temu orders a day, that's £100-200/day in courier cost, or roughly £30,000-£60,000 per year at a modest volume.

The catch: Temu's subsidised rates are only available via Temu's seller portal. If you're using a generic courier integration (Evri directly, Royal Mail directly), you pay full price. To get the Temu rate, you have to buy the label inside Temu's interface — which means leaving whatever inventory system you use, one order at a time.

Correct as of April 2026. Competitor capabilities change — verify directly with each vendor if it's a dealbreaker for you.

How to set it up in MaxInvent

  1. Connect Temu as a marketplace. Settings → Marketplaces → Add Temu. Paste your Temu API credentials (available from your Temu seller dashboard).
  2. Enable Temu courier. Settings → Couriers → Temu Courier (Direct). Toggle on. No separate credentials needed — uses the same Temu API connection.
  3. Test with one order. In the Dispatch queue, pick a Temu order, click “Buy label — Temu Courier”, pay the displayed rate, and print. Label appears in under 5 seconds.
  4. (Optional) Turn on auto-purchase.If you always want Temu labels bought automatically when orders import, Settings → Couriers → Temu → “Auto-purchase on import”. Now labels are ready when the picker picks.

When to not use the direct Temu rate

Temu's subsidised rate isn't always cheapest. Specifically:

  • Heavy parcels (over 5kg) — your existing DPD/DHL contract is usually better.
  • International shipments— Temu's UK rate is domestic-focused.
  • Odd-sized items — Temu couriers have strict size/weight rules; oversize surcharges can wipe out the savings.

MaxInvent lets you configure routing rules (e.g. “Temu courier if parcel weight < 2kg, else fall back to Evri”) so the cheapest option is picked automatically per order. That's where the real time savings come in.

Will Temu-direct labels stay a MaxInvent exclusive?

Probably not forever. Other platforms will build this eventually — the Temu API exists publicly. But as of April 2026, no other UK inventory platform has shipped it. The reason we built it first is simple: our team runs UK-based Temu stores ourselves, so it was a real daily annoyance we wanted gone.

FAQ

More questions, answered

Why don't other platforms offer direct Temu labels?
+
Temu's courier API is newer than most inventory platforms' integration pipelines. Linnworks, Brightpearl and Veeqo can import Temu orders through the public Temu seller API, but purchasing shipping labels requires a separate connection that they haven't built yet. MaxInvent built it because our team runs UK-based Temu stores ourselves, so it was a top priority.
Can I still use my own courier for Temu orders?
+
Yes — if Temu's subsidised rate isn't better than your existing courier contract (e.g. if you have a strong DPD or Royal Mail deal), MaxInvent lets you route Temu orders to any configured courier. The direct Temu label is just one of your options; you choose per order or via routing rules.
Is Temu's courier actually cheaper?
+
For most UK sellers shipping <2kg parcels, yes — Temu's subsidised rate typically beats Evri small parcel by 20-40p per shipment. For heavier parcels (>5kg), established courier contracts usually win. MaxInvent shows you the rate comparison per order so you can pick.
Does this work with TikTok Shop and Amazon too?
+
Amazon Shipping is integrated and available as a direct-buy option inside MaxInvent. TikTok Shop doesn't currently offer subsidised courier labels to UK sellers (as of Q2 2026), so there's nothing to integrate natively — you ship TikTok Shop orders with your own couriers.
How do I turn this on?
+
Once Temu is connected as a marketplace in MaxInvent, the courier label option appears automatically in the dispatch queue for Temu orders. No extra setup. If you want labels to auto-purchase on order import (rather than manually per order), turn on the 'Auto-purchase Temu labels' toggle in Settings → Couriers.
