Why Temu courier labels matter
Temu offers its own courier-label workflow to UK sellers inside Seller Centre. If your inventory system can import Temu orders but cannot create Temu courier labels, your dispatch team still has to leave the order queue, open Temu, find the order, buy the label and copy tracking back afterwards.
The operational win is removing that repeated tab-switch from every eligible Temu order. Labels are bought from the dispatch queue, printed locally where configured, and tracking is written back automatically.

How to set it up in MaxInvent
- Connect Temu as a marketplace. Settings → Marketplaces → Add Temu. Paste your Temu API credentials (available from your Temu seller dashboard).
- Enable Temu courier. Settings → Couriers → Temu Courier (Direct). Toggle on. No separate credentials needed — uses the same Temu API connection.
- Test with one order. In the Dispatch queue, pick a Temu order, click “Buy label — Temu Courier”, confirm the available service, and print.
- (Optional) Turn on auto-purchase.If you always want Temu labels bought automatically when orders import, Settings → Couriers → Temu → “Auto-purchase on import”. Now labels are ready when the picker picks.
When to use a different courier workflow
Temu courier is useful where it is available and suitable for the order. A different configured courier workflow may make more sense for:
- Heavy parcels (over 5kg) — your existing DPD/DHL contract is usually better.
- International shipments— Temu's UK rate is domestic-focused.
- Odd-sized items — Temu couriers have strict size/weight rules; oversize surcharges can wipe out the savings.
MaxInvent lets you configure routing rules (e.g. “Temu courier if parcel weight < 2kg, else fall back to Evri”) so the cheapest option is picked automatically per order. That's where the real time savings come in.
Will Temu-direct labels stay a MaxInvent exclusive?
Probably not forever. Other platforms will build this eventually — the Temu API exists publicly. But as of April 2026, no other UK inventory platform has shipped it. The reason we built it first is simple: our team runs UK-based Temu stores ourselves, so it was a real daily annoyance we wanted gone.
