Buyer evaluation criteria
Criteria for multi-channel operations
These are operational risks to assess as channel count and API dependencies increase.
Oversells on the channel with the slowest sync
Two channels can accept orders before a delayed stock update is processed.
SKU mapping chaos across 5+ channels
Amazon ASIN, eBay item ID, TikTok Shop product ID, Temu goodsId, Groupon deal SKU — none of them are your internal SKU. Mapping must be maintained or everything drifts.
Dispatch spread across 5 tabs
Each marketplace has a dashboard. Each courier has a dashboard. Nobody has the full picture of "what needs to ship today."
No single source of truth for reporting
Amazon reports are separate from eBay reports. TikTok Shop has its own analytics. You end up building spreadsheets every week.
Cost-per-channel pricing
Every connector is an add-on. Every user is a seat. The bill grows faster than the business.
The MaxInvent fix
How MaxInvent solves it for multi-channel operators
Central stock for connected channels
One operational stock pool feeds supported connected channels, with timing dependent on each channel API.
Unified SKU mapping
Your internal SKU is mapped to Amazon ASIN, eBay item ID, TikTok Shop product ID, Temu goodsId and Groupon deal SKU. Mapping is reviewable, not hidden.
See multi-channel architectureOne dispatch queue for supported channels
Eligible records from supported connectors can enter one pick, pack and dispatch workflow while retaining their source channel.
Rules-based auto-split
Configured allocation and staff review prepare warehouse work; parcel rules split by quantity, weight or dimensions; eligible Temu orders can use Temu shipping.
Auto-split guideOne reporting layer
Revenue, margin, velocity, stock cover, courier cost — all in one place, filterable by channel, warehouse, SKU or date range.
One flat per-order price
Current tiers include channels, users and warehouses without per-seat fees. You pay by order volume, subject to agreed subscription terms.

FAQ
Questions multi-channel sellers ask
How many channels can I run on one MaxInvent plan?+
Supported connected channels can share one plan; pricing is based on the published plan allowance and overage rather than a per-channel charge. Confirm each required connector and onboarding scope.
How fast does stock sync between channels?+
Update timing depends on each connected channel API and retry conditions. Evaluate representative SKUs and failure recovery rather than relying on a universal latency claim.
Can each channel have different pricing, images or copy?+
Yes. MaxInvent maintains one internal product record, and each channel has its own overrides for price, title, description, images, and listing attributes. Stock is shared; presentation is per-channel.
What happens when a new marketplace launches?+
UK marketplaces we're actively watching next: OnBuy and WooCommerce. When a new major UK marketplace launches, we review API stability, customer demand and commercial fit before sequencing a connector.
Is there a limit to warehouses or staff?+
Current tiers include warehouses and users without per-seat fees. Very large or unusual operational setups should be scoped during onboarding.
How does reporting work across channels?+
Every report can be filtered by channel, warehouse, SKU, date range or customer. You can view margin per channel, velocity per SKU per channel, and courier cost per channel.
