Cookies and similar technologies
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This notice covers maxinvent.uk, our marketing website. Version 1.0.
The short version: this website sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and stores nothing in your browser to identify you. That is why you have not been shown a consent banner. Two technologies do operate, and both are described below.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies or pixels.
- No cross-site tracking, and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party social media tracking scripts.
- No browser storage — no cookies, local storage or session storage — set by our own site code.
We mention this because a consent banner is often taken as the measure of whether a site respects privacy, and the absence of one usually means the opposite. Here it means there is nothing to consent to.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Our enquiry and launch partner forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which distinguishes a person from an automated script. Without it the forms are filled by bots within days.
Turnstile is loaded by Cloudflare, Inc. when you interact with a protected form. It processes your IP address and signals about your browser and device, and it may read or write information in your browser for that purpose. Cloudflare operates globally, including outside the United Kingdom, under a UK-approved transfer mechanism.
We rely on the exemption in regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because this is strictly necessary to provide the form you asked to use. It is not used to profile you, to advertise to you, or for any purpose other than deciding whether a submission is automated.
If you would prefer not to use it, contact us at hello@maxinvent.uk or by telephone on +44 7821 996147 instead of using the form.
Plausible Analytics
Where analytics is enabled, we use Plausible. It counts page views and form completions in aggregate. It sets no cookies, assigns no persistent identifier, does not follow you across sites, and does not let us identify an individual visitor. Data is processed in the European Union.
We use this to answer questions like which pages are read and whether a page is useful. Our interest in understanding that is the lawful basis; the impact on you is minimal, which is why we chose a measurement tool built to work this way.
How to object
You can object to this measurement, and we will honour it. Email hello@maxinvent.uk and we will confirm.
You can also block it yourself: enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser stops Plausible from recording your visit, and any standard content blocker or blocking the domain plausible.io will do the same. Nothing on this site depends on analytics, so blocking it will not break anything.
We set out an objection route explicitly because a statistical or low-risk analytics exemption from consent depends on people being told what is happening and given a straightforward way to say no. An exemption without a real objection mechanism is not an exemption.
The application
The MaxInvent application at app.maxinvent.uk is a separate, authenticated product. It uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery, and Cloudflare Turnstile on its login and registration screens. It sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Signed-in users are covered by the customer terms of service and, for the data their business processes, the data processing agreement.
Changes
If we add a technology that requires your consent, we will ask for it before it runs, and update this page. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data generally, and the sub-processor list for the providers involved.
