It was built in the warehouse of Sun Exotic Wholesale Ltd in Harlow, Essex, and is run by MaxInvent Ltd (company number 17323733), a separate company under the same owner. Sun Exotic Wholesale Ltd, owned by the same person as MaxInvent, received the Sugro Digital Innovation Award 2025. Our account is that the digital innovation was the warehouse software that became MaxInvent.

Origin reporting, October 2026
Two local titles reported that the API and ERP system built by Wholesale Distribution to automate listings led to MaxInvent. Both articles are about Wholesale Distribution in Harlow, a related family business, and do not mention Sun Exotic. The trading figures in them are that business's, not MaxInvent's. Nihat Ender, director of both MaxInvent Ltd and Sun Exotic Wholesale Ltd, was the person quoted.
