What Temu controls, and what software controls
Start here, because it determines what any tool can honestly offer. Temu decides whether an order is eligible for a platform label, which services are available and at what price, per order and per account. Software can present that choice, complete the purchase where Temu permits it, and get the label to a printer. It cannot make an ineligible order eligible.
Treat a claim of universal Temu label purchase as a claim to test rather than a feature to buy. Run it against your own account and your own order mix.
Why printing order by order stops working
Downloading a PDF per order is fine for five parcels. At fifty, somebody has to open each file, pick the right printer, and remember which ones already printed. The failure is not dramatic; it is a slow afternoon and two parcels shipped with the wrong label.
Two changes remove most of that work.
- A print agent at the bench. A small application installed on the machine beside the label printer receives jobs and prints them. In MaxInvent, tenant administrators download and enrol their own agents, and jobs are only delivered to agents enrolled for that account.
- Label runs instead of single labels. Parcels containing the same item in the same quantity are grouped into one run, printed together, and picked once.
The bulk run, step by step
- Work from the Temu print queue, which loads a bounded window of current work rather than every historical order.
- Confirm the fulfilment route for the orders in front of you: an eligible Temu platform label, or your own configured courier where Temu permits it.
- Group the identical parcels into a run. This is the step that turns a spike into a manageable afternoon.
- Print the run through the agent at the packing bench.
- Pick the run once, verifying each pack at the bench.
- Dispatch, and confirm the handover was accepted rather than only submitted.
Two limits worth knowing before you design a process
Split parcels and platform labels. A marketplace platform label is issued against the shipment the platform expects, and a split parcel may not be something it can label correctly. MaxInvent refuses a platform label where the marketplace cannot properly label a split parcel. That is deliberately a refusal rather than a best-effort attempt: a wrong label on a real parcel costs more than a blocked action.
Reprints. Use the order lookup on the dispatch screen to find an already-dispatched order and reprint. Merged label PDFs are content-addressed, so a reprint returns the same document rather than a regenerated one — the label that comes out is the one the carrier and the platform already know about.
